Hotel and resort with outdoor pools
A 6-storey hotel with planted balconies for every room, a glass-roofed restaurant, and a tiered pool court with outdoor seating and palms, in light stone facades.
Brief
The investor wanted a small resort where the pool court is the centre of the project, with every room facing it and a restaurant serving both guests and visitors.
Design decision
The room block sits on one edge behind the court so every room faces the pools, and the restaurant is a separate low volume with a glass roof that stays open to the garden. The pools step across three levels to separate children from adults without fences.
