Garden and landscape design for a private farmhouse
A complete layout for a farm courtyard: a lounge building with a glazed front, a paved court with fountain planters, a lawn with stepping stones, a pergola, a barbecue corner and a children's play area, and parking by the gate.
Brief
The owner asked to turn a bare yard around an existing lounge into a complete garden for family and guests, usable by day and night, with simple maintenance.
Design decision
The yard is divided into three zones: a hard-paved court in front of the lounge for seating and events, a lawn with stepping stones for children, and a parking area separated from the garden by a low wall with planters. Wall and bollard lighting make the garden usable at night without glare.
Outcome
A complete landscape plan with 3D visualization from 6 day and night angles showing materials, lighting and planting before construction.

Landscape and garden design
A garden in Amman is not just a green area. In summer it is used more than the living room. I design gardens for villas, ground floor apartments and farms: paving, walls and steps, planting that handles Amman's climate and scarce water, irrigation, lighting, a pergola and a pool where wanted, and I deliver drawings the landscape contractor builds from.

A chalet or farmhouse is used on weekends and left empty the rest of the week, so it needs a different design from a permanent home: privacy from neighbors, a pool and outdoor kitchen that work harder than the interior, and materials that tolerate sun and absence. I design chalets and farmhouses at the Dead Sea, in the Jordan Valley, Jerash, Ajloun, Madaba and the other governorates.

An engineer reads a plan, but a project owner needs to see the house as it will be. I produce 3D architectural visualization of facades and interior spaces from several angles, by day and by night, with a walkthrough animation on request, for my own projects and for plans prepared by other offices anywhere in Jordan.
